Dogs in the Roaring Fork Valley have found another way to get stoned other than the bo ring break-in of edibles at home: They are eating human feces tainted with marijuana.
Dr. Scott Dolginow, who owns Valley Emergency Pet Care in Basalt, said he is seeing anywhere between three and 10 dogs a week that come in with marijuana toxicity.
His working theory is that these dogs are eating human feces that have enough THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, in it to carry over for a second high. And they are finding these piles of pot-laced poop on trails and in campgrounds. Snip click here

My son has been volunteering in a vet clinic. He saw a patient one day that ingested his master’s pot, as well as some of his chocolate. It was awful. The dog’s eyes alternated between huge pupils and pinpoint pupils. He was miserable. I do not wish this on anybody’s pooch.

Dogs eat human feces? Where are all the anti-pit-bull apologists, can you confirm this culinary behavior as fact? I wasn’t aware of this.

I’m not sure such a person exists. I’ve never heard a person who hates pit bulls apologize for anything....certainly nothing related to dogs.
