Disco in the Blues Brothers movie? Nope, don’t think that would have worked at all. Unless Jake and Elwood destroyed the instruments afterwards, or as it was starting.
Lots of things are linked. Doesnt make all bad.
The feel of the music is completely different. Disco is a smooth groove eminently danceable, and included couples dance again. Rap is just monotonous evil.
