Change your locks, NYC — someone stole the key to the city.
US Women’s National Soccer Team star Allie Long had her Los Angeles hotel room broken into Thursday — and the key to the city she had just received from Mayor Bill de Blasio was missing, sources said.
“After the @ESPYS show someone stole my wedding ring, cash and the key to my favorite city after just receiving it from my hotel room,” Long tweeted Thursday night.
The ceremonial key — which Long received Wednesday after a ticker-tape parade in Manhattan to honor her team’s World Cup win — was taken from her room at the JW Marriott Los Angeles near the Staples Center, according to law enforcement sources.
TMZ reported that the wedding ring was worth about $15,000.

Ha Ha, she really expects anyone to believe this? A worthless key to Bozo’s city stolen from what hotel—a flea infested dive in south LA? What reputable “hotel” does not have security cameras? Note the name of the “hotel” is not mentioned in the article. I simply refuse to believe this, another victim in the making.

It was probably stolen by an illegal on Marriott’s cleaning crew. Marriott stated earlier in the day that they would not rent rooms to ICE officials for the round up Sunday.

Why would anyone want that? If anything, I’d think they’d be looking for a key OUT OF New York City.
I feel bad for her. Apparently she and her husband left the latch to their room out when they were down visiting another room a couple doors down. I guess she’s learning you can’t do that in a cesspool like LA is becoming — particularly in a hotel that bans ICE.
