You're probably correct on "Double Jeopardy" when it comes to the old charges and how the derps will play that angle.
Is it correct where any new charges he's charged with, "Double Jeopardy" won't apply? I believe that is the case but I'm for being corrected if wrong. If that is the case, after all the raids on Epstein's properties, I imagine will bring even more new charges.

If the double-jeopardy was in play then SDNY, the gem of the East coast jurisdictions, will never overcome the egg on their faces and the DOJ will look like first year law students.

I share your understanding that there are plenty of new charges, and hear they are in new places, new victims, and that the Florida case failed to specify that the FL court determinations against Epstein applied forever forward, or to anywhere outside of Florida. Possibly it was Giuliani who discussed those details.
Idk, either, what truly will apply when the court finally hears the case. Too much assumption and speculation flying and attorneys are paid to advocate, to disagree and oppose. We will doubtless see that fact borne out in the “news” frenzy.
