No, not at all, Tuscaloosa. It was just an eye opening tv show. And I think all parents have a honeymoon period then a “I’M NEVER GONNA SLEEP AGAIN” period, followed by head banging and “I have no idea how to parent this child.” P

Yes! They are all different even with the same genes and parents. You think you’ve figured it out and the next one comes along and there go all your theories, out the window. :-)
The sleepless nights never really bothered me. I can wake up in an instant and fall back to sleep, to this day. Raised 2 as a single widowed dad. Then got 1 more and 3 of my new wife’s. True Brady bunch now. They all had different difficulties. But doing well. Early teens was the worse for the girls. Late teens for the boys. I thank God for my family every day.
