One month before Apollo 11 lifted off, my Dad took me to Cape Canaveral to see the rocket on the launching pad. Although we stood a mile away from the rocket, and the service structure covered the top of it, I knew without a doubt what it was.
Most of the people I have met who don’t believe we went to the moon are too young to remember the Apollo missions.
I also remember the stupid covered wagon that Ralph Abernathy drove to the Cape to try and guilt us into not spending money on further moon landings. Spend more on his issues!
He succeeded!
Seems like a lot of work to go through to "fake the Moon landings", eh?
