EL ROSARIO, Honduras — On a late winter evening, the people of this remote village walked out of their tin-roofed houses and headed to the local health clinic, a small, brightly painted building that has become a lifeline and a community gathering place.
Worry crossed their faces as they crammed onto wooden benches outside the clinic, shuffling dust-covered cowboy boots and plastic sandals.
They had come with questions.
Last year, farmers here watched helplessly as drought withered their corn and bean crops for a fifth straight year. With nothing to sell and no food supplies to feed their families, they’ve entered this growing season without any reserves.
El Rosario is on the edge of hunger.
As the sun slid below the distant tree line, Nelson Mejia, a big, soft-spoken man in his fifties, stood before his neighbors and prepared to share words of advice. He has been farming in El Rosario almost all his life, and he knows that unless something changes soon, the village could starve — or its 500 residents could be forced to find a new home.

Those people send money back to their families. If increasing numbers of their families come with them or come here after they come here, the remittances stop flowing proportionally. When the influx of cash quits flowing, the conditions in these s-holes just get worse. This then causes even more people to flee, creating a cascading feedback loop.

The natural resources and climate of South America is so underutilized. If these countries did things the American way, they would be incredibly prosperous. That goes for the African continent. American exceptionalism is mocked by the Socialists because they want all of the wealth as wealth/resources is ultimate power. According to the Socialist system, people are quite expendable and drain systems and then they run out of people. They then have to import people and those who can actually utilize the resources.
Um, and they’re not traveling south of the equator (to similar climes) because...?

Flimsey Grahamnesty has been working on passing amnesty since 2006 and he’s still working to pass it now.
Amnesty will result in a permanent Democrat majority and he knows it.
Same with Micro Rubio and the rest of them.
Surely they must teach courses in propaganda in journalism school. How about courses in fake news? If they don’t, they are leaving their students unprepared for jobs in mainstream media!
