England and Sweden face off on Saturday in their last action at the 2019 Women's World Cup, battling in the third-place game. The English made back-to-back semifinals but fell 2-1 to favorite the United States, missing out on the final just barely. Sweden looked like the favorite to make the final but lost 1-0 to the Netherlands in extra time.

Who is up for third place? The runner-up game today before the final tomorrow sees a clash between England and Sweden.
A consolation prize isn’t quite the same as winning the title but it still beats leaving the World Cup with nothing to show for it.

The final of both the WWC and the Gold Cup is on Sunday, the third place WWC game is on Saturday. The WWC games are at 8am PDT, the Gold Cup Final’s a night game.

I think it has to do with qualifying for the Olympics. Not sure, but think 1st, 2nd, 3rd place World Cup winners auto qualify for Olympics.
