After our buckets were filled with blueberries, and taken to the kitchen, Mom knew what to do.
She got out her cast iron griddle and went to work. This is how my mom's blueberry pancakes looked.

The ruffled edges were a bit crisp and held the little
rivulets of melted butter and maple syrup...delicious.

Oh My... I may have to unfriend you for posting this photo. Every Saturday morning a flock of us Old Timers meet at the local Dennys and five of us have pancakes and the sixth one has bacon & eggs over his pancakes...
