I’m glad I knew a day when ice fishing on the Saginaw Bay sitting with my back to the whipping wind, parka hood up and pulling in 83 perch with my father (who I buried Tuesday).
No internet. No PCs of any kind. No cell phones.
And there were people who were 80 when you were doing your fishing saying how much they HATE all of the cars on the road now and that damn TV when radio shows were just fine.
