There’s a really good chance casting a black actress as the red-haired Ariel will result in another bomb. But Disney will be very proud of their virtue signaling.
“The Princess and the Frog” cost $105 million and grossed $267 million, that’s not called a bust.
BTW it’s a cute movie, I bought the blu-ray.
