You just don’t care about whose ass it is or why it’s farting.

Why (IMHO)?

1. Because movies are retreaded crap. No original ideas. Same old, same old.
2. Too expensive.
3. Streaming is better, cheaper, and you can watch the movies in your PJs.

It has to start with quality storytelling, That’s our focus,” said Cathleen Taff, Disney’s president of global distribution

The same Disney about to release an identical shot-for-shot CGI version of the cartoon Lion King?

John Wick 3 did very well. Come up with original material instead of reboots, and maybe people will pay $18 for a box of popcorn.

I’m 77 ... look at the list of movies ... give me a break, why would I have ANY interest in any of this stuff. Too bad, I live in a senior community, when you go to the local cinema, there are only 5 or 10 people present. They’ve fixed the popcorn, fixed the seats, even put in a pub for beer and wine ... but they don’t have ONE good movie!

how many times can they make Friday the 13th and Godzilla and old crap movies. Even Rocky is in the geriatric hospital and they still come out with a new version.

Nothing in here about audiences getting sick of giving money to people who hate them and their values. Huck Follywood!

If Air Supply went into the studio to re-record all their old 1980s hits, would people line up to buy them again?

C'mon Hollywood, come up with some original stand-alone movie scripts and maybe we'll go back to the cinemas. Stop trying to re-make movies that were hits 30 years ago.

In the meantime, there's plenty of original old movies to discover on Netflix.

“Look out ... here comes the Spider-man”

The TV ads say he has a “Peter tingle” (not spider-sense, copyright 1962)

Wake me up when they make another ‘Patton’.

They make a good movie for adults once in a blue moon, but the deluge of superhero movies and animated films for kids is depressing.

They have tunnel vision and are unable to relate to the part of the country that used t go to movies before the Hollywood elites stated belittling them.

How many times have we seen the same article where Hollywood shakes its collective head wondering why their box office results are so dismal? It’s because the movies suck! It’s not that difficult to figure out.

On the other hand “Yesterday”, a romantic comedy about a singer-songwriter who discovers that no one else remembers the Beatles is a surprise hit. Maybe that’s because it’s creative, original, well written and doesn’t pound endless Leftist and LGBT narratives into its audience?

people love the theatrical experience

Um, no, they don't. People talking during the movie. Texting on their phones.

Mostly, folks are tired of political propaganda and movies pushing the lie that fags are acceptable people.

“It has to start with quality storytelling, That’s our focus,” said Cathleen Taff, Disney’s president of global distribution. “If we deliver movies people are going to enjoy, they are going to come back. You can’t fool them.”

She needs to have a long, hard discussion with their Lucasfilm division. They have pretty much killed the Star Wars franchise since Disney bought them by ignoring this very advice.

Handler doesn’t see any megahits in 2020? 3 Marvel, 1 Bond, 1 Fast and Furious, and 2 DCs. Cash will be made.
