What in the world?
Can you imagine the money they spent on R&D getting this product designed, produced, tested and promoted?
The result is ‘interesting’, but I don’t see it catching on.
But then, what do I know? I’m not even worth $1 Million Dollars, while Arby’s net value is at least $1.7 Billion.
So, they have the money to dabble in foods that imitate other foods.

It's not meant to catch on. It's meant to generate free publicity and public curiosity. Like Burger King rolling out those burgers and black buns. Or KFC making those "sandwiches" where the bread is pieces of chicken.

It's a wink and nod to how they don't cater to vegans and you chuckle when you read it in the paper and then, they hope, you decide to go to Arby's for a proper sammich.
