A 17-year-old Honduran migrant described babies sleeping on a cold floor. A teen mother said her sick baby was unable to open her eyes for two days but no one responded to her pleas for help. Another teenager took charge of a 5-year-old stranger because the small child was very upset and had no one else after being separated from her father. In filings in federal court in Los Angeles late on Wednesday, attorneys for migrant children asked a federal judge to hold the U.S. government in contempt of court for “flagrant and persistent” violations of the terms of a 1997 agreement that governs the treatment of children in immigration detention. They requested immediate action be taken to remedy the “deplorable” conditions.

She could “meegrate” back home to see a local doctor. Apparently she cares so little about her child, she won’t do that.
Everyday a free bus ride back to Mexico should be offered.im betting there would be some takers.
Summary deportation would be preferable.
Shut the door. Kick them all out.
Go home, stay home.
Can’t believe any of this.
Gossip and hearsay is no way to run a legal system.
So some judge is going to issue a national requirement to provide x number of doctors, nurses, dietitians, social workers for x number of wetbacks and individual apartment housing but the Congress will provide no funds for such with the end result being that there is no more pretense of proper processing, just an opening of the gates, “Yall come on in!”
To quote a country song, “My give-a-damn’s Busted.”
The “crime” is in the identification of the actor not in any action or words. The SocialDemocrats operate on political Bills of Attainder and on the principle of a Privileged Elite. Republicans generally go along with it.
They are free to go back where they came from anytime they want.
It sucks that there were no Honduran medical personnel on hand at the detention centers to care for their countrymen (countrypersons?).
Maybe we should send them back to Honduras to get the proper care and attention they deserve.
The courts rule us unconditionally, it seems. Or at least the left thinks so.
Step one of any such action should be to ask the parents in what conditions their child slept the night before they were taken into custody.
If they say “on the ground”, or “in a truck with no windows”, the parents should be turned over to authorities for prosecution, and the children taken into child protective services.
If you are going to argue that your children are being mistreated while in custody, you should be punished if you treated them worse.
It is terrible and inhumane in America. Go the f##k back home where it’s much better.
Odd that none of these attorneys seem to have names or be associated with any specific organization or client.
