Dear Michael Snyder:
We’re you or any other person on the planet 500 years ago?
So, you and the others have no idea what you are talking about. Right?
Sheesh.

Every friggin’ year there are weather extremes somewhere, and new records are set. Spare me.
To: Roman_War_Criminal
Nothing bizarre about it. The weather is rarely the same from year to year in any given place.

It seems this writer is too young to have experienced this kind of weather before.

Just look at what is happening in Colorado. Some parts of the state got up to 20 inches of snow on Saturday, and as a result Colorados snowpack is currently more than 4,000 percent above normal
That doesn't fit the globull warming narrative, I guess we are back to climate change.

couple of years of great snow in the rockies will refill lake powell and lake meade. that’s actually great news. It has been two decades of drought that lowered those lake levels.

Hogwash. Sign of the times? What times? II Thess. 2:3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; KJV.

Nothing unusual about it if you go back and look at history.
When the number of sunspots goes down significantly, the planet cools. But it doesn’t cool uniformly - it can be quite varied. And droughts/floods are a side effect of the changing pattern.
To: Roman_War_Criminal
Worldwide weather patterns are shifting dramatically No, there's nothing unusual about any of this. The European heat and US cold is a similar pattern to the 1940's.

Notice the deep statistical analysis presented with the article showing combinations of events that showed a strong possibility that this was indeed something unique.
No, wait.
Math? They didn’t need no stinkin’ math.

Mr Sun is the biggest impact on weather on earth. Nothing else comes close by a long shot.
And Mr Sun’s sunspot activity has taken a massive nosedive the last few years.

Don’t you love it when they throw around big percentages? It makes it more scary.
In reality, the weather has been changing for eons and man has been watching for a minuscule amount of time in comparison. If scientists are correct, the earth has been around ~4.5 billion years with weather occurring every day. Humans just started looking at it a few hundred years ago and only about a hundred of it globally. Try telling your boss that you can tell what happened in the first 4.5 billions samples by only looking at the last 100.
If creationists are correct, the sample comment still holds, albeit at a less scary percentage differential.

Liberal: It’s been hotter than usual on the top of Mount Everest lately. Refute that, deniers! Therefore, global warming is still on.
