Former Vice President Joe Biden campaigned Wednesday on a horrific photo of a migrant father and daughter who drowned in the Rio Grande river while trying to cross into the United States.
“This image is gut-wrenching,” Biden wrote on Twitter. “The cruelty we’re seeing at our border is unconscionable.”
Biden blamed their deaths on Trump administration border enforcement officials rather than the open border policies promulgated by Democrats.
“History will judge how we respond to the Trump Administration’s treatment of immigrant families & children—we can’t be silent,” he wrote. “This isn’t who we are. This is not America.”

Make no mistake: When the left tries to hang this on Trump, it’s really us they’re talking about.
But no worries. All the repukes are expressing their shock and dismay all over the radio waves.
Thousands of gut-wrenching photos exist from police investigations of the murdered Americans killed by illegal alien criminals. Not to mention the thousands more who were slaughtered on the highways by IA drunk drivers. Trump should flood the airways with these photos in response to Biden’s demagoguery.
Do democrats want us to fly illegals into our country so they’re not at any risk?
Tragic as it is they seem to be the only people to ever die from drowning. The only ones that count according to the dims. It is somehow Trump’s fault.
The dims and RINOs invite them in illegally and then it is someone else’s fault if something happens to them. Many die every year from the heat of crossing the desert and drowning in the Rio Grande. Many are raped, robbed, murdered, abandoned... Supporting illegal immigration is in no way compassionate to the illegals. It is in fact modern day slavery.
Perhaps it should serve as a warning not to attempt to illegally enter other countries.
Maybe thats the real lesson to learn here.
If he meant it then he would apologize for his party’s encouraging people to do dangerous things like this. This would stop if the Dems would support American sovereignty and stop inviting millions to violate our laws while putting their own lives at risk. They only do it because they know the Dems support them doing this.
But of course the Dems would hate to see the border secured and nothing like this ever happening again. This is their great issue. What better to serve their demagoguery than a terrible situation they created but can easily blame on the people trying to clean up their mess?
one version of the story says the man was running from gangs who wanted a part of his trucker’s salary. The man’s mother said they were living with her, but they wanted their own house, nothing about gangs. Regardless of the truth, they had already been denied US asylum, and had already rec’d Mexican docs to resettle in Messico. And Messico is banking lots of American money for that purpose. But that wasn’t good enough. And foolish parents made the foolish decision of fatally endangering a child by leaving a 2yo alone on a river bank. The US had zip do with his poor judgement or his attempt to circumvent US law with an illegal crossing at a dangerous location. The child’s death, however tragic, is firmly in the laps of the parents and no one else. So Biden can stick his guilt-trippin’.
Yep - if anything it was a suicide/homicide...can’t think of another reason to have the child’s head and shoulders tucked under the t-shirt except to insure there was no escape if the suicide lost consciousness first.
How timely, a gut wrenching dead kid just in time for the first communist debate.
