>> Does PDJT understand that lasting solutions are beyond the reach of elections?

Excellent point. I’m sure he does. That is something I’ve given a lot of thought to, also.

IMO it’s a bit like having a messy and crumbling house falling down around you. You have 2 choices. 1) Throw your hands up and give up and let it continue to deteriorate. 2) Get busy and make repairs and clean things up.

PDJT (and we) have chosen option 2.

So we are doing our best to clean house and fix things. That doesn’t mean that in the future things won’t need repair and cleaning. But at least we are doing our best to stop the rot. It’s like if you put a new roof on your house. Unless a hurricane comes through, that roof ought to be good for many years.

Another thing: You can only fix the problems you’re aware of. I think about our Founding Fathers. They put safeguards in the Constitution to fix the problems they were dealing with and prevent them from happening again. That worked for quite a long time! I believe they tried to anticipate what else might go wrong and tried to protect against it. That is why we have checks and balances. That’s why we have 3 branches to our government. That’s why we have the Bill of Rights.

Next week it will be 243 years since patriots started this great country. 232 years since the Constitution was written. Those who are evil probably started looking for ways to abuse and exploit it from day 1. But PDJT and his team have used the provisions of that Constitution to counter the exploiters. They are removing the rot and decay. They are putting a new set of safeguards in place to plug the holes that were previously exploited. Will it last forever? I doubt it. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not hopeful. It will be like a new roof. I expect it will provide protection for many years to come.

The court-filed documents from the FBI included screen shots of the posts that they cited in the subpoena. The screen shots indicated that the ones who took the screenshots were acting as an agent provocateur. That would be the FBI.

Proof that the FBI was posting to poison the well and entrap anons.

The court documents are online and indicate “(you)” by the FBI posts. An indicator known to anon and a function of 8chan software.”

The autists at 8chan probably caught on to this quickly; “spot the fed” has been done in grassroots movements for a long time.

Democrats’ Cirque De Absurdite

FTA:
Almost before the game show applause had settled, Beto O’Rourke launched into a juvenile Spanish-language hustle that left Sen. Cory Booker wide-eyed and most everyone else rolling their eyes.

Moments later, Booker found common ground with Friedrich Engels, grousing about how the economy wasn’t working for everyone, a common thread throughout the “debate.” Still later, he too resorted to Spanish, competing with O’Rourke to show he is the most Hispanic candidate, even more Hispanic than someone named Castro and far more Hispanic than the Irish guy.

A few beats after O’Rourke’s first foreign-language outburst, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the media’s pre-selected winner, made the brave declaration she wanted to return government to the people — while pointing at herself. Well done, Senator. Now we know who she wants to vest the power of government in.
...
Anyone expecting depth is occupying the same fantasy world as the candidates.

Mueller’s ‘Reluctant Witness’ Pose Is Another Impeachment Ploy

FTA:
Our guess is that his reluctant witness act is just another part of Mueller’s impeachment strategy. If he’d appeared too eager to talk, it would only undermine his credibility by making him look too vested in removing Trump from office.

By pretending to be a reluctant witness, Mueller has a better chance, or at least another one, to try to gin up momentum for Trump’s impeachment.

>> Yes, you guessed it, I’m talking about Facebook. And what I’m guessing is that this is exactly what Facebook wants to be. Not a company, a country.

OUTSTANDING post!

I have thought about that in the past in regard to the Palestinians. Can you be a country without physical land?

I have thought about that in the past in regard to the deep divide in the US. Could we have 2 countries simultaneously occupying our land? I’ve thought about a system where the socialists get what they want, but just don’t get to impose it on the rest of us! Ok, all you socialists, if that’s what you want, here’s a big pot and you can all throw your money in and it will be divided equally. So sign up for that and you get free stuff, so long as the money in the pot holds out. But don’t sign up for that and you get to keep your money, much lower taxes, you have to provide for your own retirement, health care, insurance, etc.

It would be a GREAT experiment! It would be especially fun to see who signed up for socialism and who didn’t. All those rich people clamoring about the poor! Are they going to volunteer to pool their money? Or were they all talk and hoping for someone else’s money to fund their pipe dreams? Middle class taxpayer money. How long would all that last until the pot ran dry. I’d bet not long. I’d bet within a year it would be starting to crumble as the few that were working found out they were carrying the slugs on their backs.

As for FB, I don’t think they want to be a country. Not one of many anyway. I think they want to be dictators of the world. I think that’s what the story of the Tower of Babel warned us against.

https://thefederalist.com/2019/06/26/call-reparations-isnt-justice-power/

The Call For Reparations Isn’t About Justice, It’s About Power

FTA:
Coates does not believe this. To him, America was from the beginning a regime based on injustice and theft and violence. His 2014 Atlantic cover story on reparations is not so much an argument for reparations as an argument against America.
...
Another way of expressing this is to say that America is irredeemable, and that in order for justice to prevail, the regime itself must be destroyed—violently, if necessary. Coates has hinted at this.
...
If you oppose reparations—just like if you oppose immigration or gay marriage or transgenderism—you are not a good person.
...
The goal here isn’t to heal or to bring together, but to divide.

Excellent news.

But Scott Israel is the one who needs to be fired. Not just suspended. Fired.

IMO he’s a derp and the ringleader of the deliberate inaction.

Laws must be applied equally or they don’t matter

FTA:
If you tell one group of individuals that, for whatever reason, there are certain laws they no longer have to abide by, it’s not long before everybody else begins to believe that there’s no reason they should be held accountable for any crimes they commit either.

Here’s the deal for any society: either all the laws have to be enforced for everybody, across the board, or pretty soon they’re not going to be enforced for anybody.

The only alternative is to start repealing all the laws that are apparently optional for some people, but not others. Fair’s fair, right? Isn’t that what the 14th amendment is all about – equal protection under the law?

https://spectator.org/robert-mueller-the-guest-who-wont-leave/

Robert Mueller: The Guest Who Won’t Leave

FTA:
Everyone has met Robert Mueller. He’s the guest who won’t leave the party. You first notice him as an awkward presence gradually eroding the pleasant ambience by hovering silently at the edge of the festivities. Then, after he has had a couple of drinks, he begins to insert himself into random conversations with solipsistic non-sequiturs. At length, after everyone else has contrived to leave early, you discover that he’s too drunk to drive even if he could find his keys. You call a cab, but he misses it and you find him asleep in your front yard the next day. This is what it’s like to get rid of someone like Mueller.
...
If the Dems know what they’re doing, they will give Mueller the bum’s rush before the voters quietly slip out of their obviously dead party.

‘Unmasker in Chief’ Samantha Power spewed anti-Trump bias in government emails

By John Solomon

FTA:
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power may share an unflattering stage with a text-loving FBI agent and his Donald Trump-hating paramour from the bureau.

Fired agent Peter Strzok and ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page are infamous today for texting on FBI phones their anti-Trump sentiments while allegedly having an affair. They played key roles in the now-debunked Russia collusion investigation.

It turns out that Power — the diplomat whose authority inexplicably was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret intelligence reports during the 2016 election — engaged in similar Trump-bashing on her official government email, according to documents unearthed by an American Center for Law and Justice lawsuit. The conservative legal group is run by Trump defense attorney Jay Sekulow.

The discovery could add a new dimension — a question of political bias — to a long-running congressional investigation into why Power’s authority was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret National Security Agency intercepts during the 2016 election.

https://spectator.us/pathetic-exhibition-virtue-miami/

A pathetic exhibition of virtue-signaling in Miami

FTA:
A genuine liberal education is as much an education of the emotions as it is an education of the intellect. The truly educated person experiences the right emotions at the appropriate times in the appropriate intensity for the appropriate reasons.

Aristotle explains all this in the Nicomachean Ethics. Knowing this, I felt badly watching the ‘debate’ among the first tranche of 10 Democratic aspirants to be their party’s nominee for president in 2020. I felt, I must admit, an immoderate access of schadenfreude — tinged with revulsion, it is true, but the element of pleasing disdain predominated. I am not proud of it. I merely record the fact.
...
Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has presided over one of the most — I think it is probably the single most — successful opening years of any president ever. That’s a difficult record to run against. So what tonight’s 10 candidates did — and I am certain that tomorrow’s will as well — was to deny reality and pretend that they were running against the Donald Trump of their dreams: a dark figure whose policies hurt instead of helped average Americans, who was anti-black, anti-woman, anti-immigrant.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7187333/Trump-touches-Japan-crush-intense-diplomatic-talks-Putin-China.html

Trump touches down in Japan for a crush of intense diplomatic talks with Putin and China at the G20 – after blasting India for ‘unacceptable’ tariffs and mocking NBC debate moderators from Air Force One

FTA:
En route to typhoon-expectant Japan, Trump fired off a bullish tweet, chiding long-standing ally India for ‘unacceptable’ tariffs on American goods.

And before setting off he lambasted China for ‘going down the tubes,’ slammed Vietnam as the ‘single worst abuser’ on trade, lashed Germany as ‘delinquent’ on contributions to NATO, and said hosts Japan would not help the US in the event of WWIII.

‘If Japan is attacked, we will fight World War III. We will go in and protect them with our lives and with our treasure,’ he said. ‘But if we’re attacked, Japan doesn’t have to help us. They can watch it on a Sony television.’

Trump blasted Beijing, claiming they wanted to do a trade deal because the world’s number-two economy was ‘going down the tubes’.

The in-flight entertainment en route was less than satisfactory. Trump declared the Democratic presidential debate, where his name barely came up, ‘BORING.’ He also said NBC and MSNBC should be ‘ashamed’ for an embarrassing technical glitch that forced the network to cut to commercial.

About 20 minutes before he landing, he tweeted a video mocking the glitch, set to ACDC’s ‘Crazy Train.’

I rewound to Maria’s previous segment showcasing the kids summer toys and it looks like the truck is parked off in the distance behind her to the left.

The segment where the Q truck is right behind her. The timing would have to be perfect to get that truck in the shot as she is speaking the last few seconds before her show ends and Varney comes on.

What are the odds huh?
