FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) -- A incident of road rage on the Eastern Shore was caught on camera.
A witness tells FOX10 News that one man pulled a gun on another man in the middle of Greeno Road on Monday afternoon.
Fairhope Police said it started shortly before 2 p.m. when the passenger of a vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Maurice King Mayo of Mobile, exited a vehicle and confronted the driver of a red hatchback.
Another man then got out of his vehicle and jumped on the hood of a car, breaking the windshield with his foot.
Police said Mayo then got a gun from the vehicle and pointed it at the man who was standing on the hood of the car.
Mayo was arrested and charged with carrying a pistol without a concealed permit. Investigators are still working to identify the driver of the red hatchback.

We have Constitutional Carry in Arizona. No permit needed for any standard carry/conceal. But you can get a CCW to exchange with other states and for some special circumstances.
My .380 sits in a holster over my sun visor, Can’t see it from outside.
Some big redneck jumps on my hood and kicks in my windshield, and I guarantee you I’ll be in reasonable fear for my life.
Picture of the bad guy and a photo that could be enhanced to read the license plate? My guess is that he’s either a relative of a cop or the son of someone prominent in the community.
As for the charge against the Black guy - does the pistol look concealed to you?
There is an update on the webpage now. The hood-jumping guy is a 54 yr old named Windell Earl Robinson and has turned himself in. Didn’t say if has been charged.
I expected him to be in his 20s or 30s at most. By the age of 54 you ought to have grown up a bit more.

They guy on the car turned himself in awhile back. The story is the white guy and Mayo were messing with each other on the road. The white guy gets out of his car and jumps up on the hood and kicks in the windshield. What the story doesn’t tell us is Mayo’s girl was in the car (they were on their way to an OB/GYN appointment) and she got class spatter in her face. That’s when Mayo pulled the gun and called the cops and that’s why he wasn’t arested for brandishing. Simply misdemeanor for not have his CPL.
Thanks, Mathews, for clearing that up. That story above is about as poorly written as it could have been. It happened in front of my office and I had a more reliable story from the folks who were outside when it occurred. Just goes to show how poor the state of reporting in our country (and my hometown) has gotten.
BTW, what red hatchback? Neither of the cars are red. WOW.
