I have been a fan of Hickok45 for a long time as well as being a Patron member. I feel for him and John as it would not be an easy decision. It was not them who walked away from the NRA, but the NRA from them. I am 100% behind the NRA as an Organization and have Benefactor Membership; but there actions of late, leave me perplexed also. I could not honestly ask anyone to support them in good conscious.
I do not want the NRA to become like Google (too big, and too elite) The NRA has to clean house and remember why they are the NRA.

I appreciated your comments, but we have to recognize that Wayne Lapierre cares only for one thing: bringing in money to his organization. I usually call it the NRE No Reason to Exist, though he is most useful to Rinos in that he gives them cover as they compromise away out rights. Wayne Lapierre himself said, “We only fight battles we can win...” meaning of course we surrender in advance!

You are naive if you think the NRA can’t be infiltrated by the left. Time for them to be strict about policy, procedures etc. NRA needs to get back to their prime point.

Basically, leftists are trying to break up the NRA, and people are letting them do it. That’s my take.
