Caesars sure has one of the top locations on the strip and a huge property. Amazing how some can make millions and others go bankrupt.
The Loosest Craps In Town
The problem with Caesars is they need a major update to their property. It looks like they are still in the 70's. No comparison to the likes of the Wynn or others on the strip.
And Wynn is about to build “The Finale”.
Caesars Palace itself isnt too bad, but many of the others like Flamingo and Rio and even Paris are really showing their age. They have put a lot of money into The Linc and the new convention center they are going to build behind Harrahs - well see if this merger speeds things up a little.
Being that we live just 90 miles from that town, when we go there, generally to the airport and get to hell out as fast as we can.
Laughlin is a nicer town if your into gaming. Problem is, although they do have the airport they havent the flights into it.
Dont know much about Reno other than driving through it.
MGM owns about half the Strip Casinos now. The big names. I normally stay at The Mirage. Use to stay downtown. Golden Nugget. Until the fish-mongers took over.
Caesars learns gambling doesn’t pay who knew.

Can someone please tell me what the “Opens a New Window” means??? It appears more and more in articles and is really irritating!
It means the same thing as "At the end of the day, OR starting every sentence with "SO", or saying yea, yea yea 3 times in a response to someone.
I still prefer their premium rooms above any on the strip in their price range.
Reserved in advance, it is the cost of any other ‘regular’ room booked a few weeks in advance.
A very large room, a giant Jacuzzi, amenities that put normal rooms to shame.
Caesars has been updating their rooms, for years. We stay there pretty much every year now. For some reason, the Venetian stopped offering us free rooms.. and, anyway.. as much as I love the Venetian, it always seems to stay PACKED with crazy conference goers.
Last time we stayed there, it was a huge group of cigar smokers. You just about couldn’t see in the casino.
It appears whenever a link exists ? Some translator or copy and paste snafu.

Where on earth do these things come from? It’s very irritating but if it would stop people from starting every sentence with “SO” - I can weather it!

Well, that makes more sense than the reply in #11...can’t find how it would even fit the way that reply stated...but I did like the idea of getting rid of starting every sentence with “so”...We need to get rid of the people who use such irritating language...If some of us stick around much longer, we won’t understand what people mean or are talking about! It’s almost that bad now.
