I have a feeling that this list is heavily skewed to countries who like to give away "free stuff" to citizens, irrespective of the tax burden. Basically, another push poll to make the US look bad.

What’s interesting is the that the top tiers are occupied by white Nordic countries, including England, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Despite their miserable climates white people make the most pleasant countries to live in.
