Or you could pay a restoration shop $200,000 to do a full body-off and totally stripped-down engine restoration. You’d be in for $270,000 or so.

70k would take care of all the pet projects I have in pieces.

I have done a lot of fixing and preservation myself. However I don’t have a shop with a lift and some help. Hence the slow go.
