Firefox and Duckduckgo
I’m still being watched, but I must be pretty boring.
“I must be pretty boring”
We know.
you definitely don’t want to say yes to firefox. they have sold out. there has been recent news where they are all in about suppressing “fake” news and internet censorship. gave them up after they pushed out the creator over his support for prop 8.
And Linux. My 6 year old laptop with Linux is 5 times faster than my 2 year old laptop running Windows 10.
Firefox is up to their necks in the technotatorship goal.
I dropped Google Chrome, Google search, (I use DuckDuckGo too) and Gmail, around the first of the year, but knowing that George Soros acquired Mozilla, I just can’t use Firefox.
My substitute for Firefox is Waterfox, which has a Gecko-based engine and is open platform. Also, Waterfox supports Firefox extensions.
My substitute for Google Chrome is Vivaldi, which is highly customizable and is Chromium-based. And Vivaldi supports Google Chrome extensions.
By the way, Vivaldi is the best looking browser out there, and it has the optional bookmark sidebar like Firefox, which I must have with any browser.
I occasionally use Palemoon as well.
