The West Hollywood City Council has unanimously voted to have Donald Trump's star removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame after multiple instances of vandalism, and Star Wars alum Mark Hamill has pitched the perfect person to replace him: film icon Carrie Fisher, who passed away in 2016.
In a tweet responding to The Hill's story, Hamill suggested the late actress take Trump's spot in the popular tourist attraction using #AStarforCarrie, which has since gone viral. "Good riddance! (and I know just who should replace him....)" he wrote.
Hamill shared a special relationship with Fisher, who played his long-lost twin sister Leia in George Lucas' Star Wars trilogy. Both reprised their roles for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first film in J.J. Abrams' new trilogy, but their characters didn't reunite on-screen until its follow-up film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which saw Hamill's Luke Skywalker die and become one with the Force. Fisher will appear posthumously in the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker via unused footage left over from The Force Awakens.

Re: Under CA law her death required an autopsy.
I don’t know the law in CA.
Nationally, the autopsy rate for a hospital death (she spent three days in the ICU) is less than 5%.
Unless the Police were actively searching for the source of the illegal drugs in her body, I’m not sure why they would have done an autopsy.
