From my daughter earlier today: From Joanna -“We went ahead and saw both doctors this morning. They did a LOT of tests and scans. The inflammation has gone down! Praise the Lord! They’re ordering more bloodwork to test for other diseases and an MRI to test for Multiple Sclerosis. He said it was unlikely she had MS but they’re going to check anyway. Thanks for the prayers.” “Also doing these labs...I know they’re checking for Lyme disease but not sure what the rest mean. I haven’t had time to look them up.”
They had scheduled and MRI but didn’t even ask about braces - she has braces on her teeth so the scans they could do didn’t work because of that.
CT scan is a possibility, although not a very good one. Dental implants are non-magnetic; I am surprised that braces are not.
Have they considered an auto-immune disorder? A curious pathology; may the Lord provide an answer.
