It’s time to abolish the welfare system. All of it. Lock, stock and barrel. No food stamps. No Medicaid. No housing assistance. We can make an exception for the physically disabled, but all others can get a job, rely on relatives, or starve. Children can be removed from improvident parents and put up for adoption, or be put in orphanages.
We would have a difficult decade or two while we flushed the system, but it would solve a lot of problems.

The easier (and more humane) solution is to send it back to the states.
In NH, when I lived the in the mid eighties, this stuff was handled at the local level.
Put the management closer to the people...and you will have a better system.
You realize that has been county relief since there were counties...dont you?
