Getting plenty of rain; the weeds love it!

Miraculously, potatoes continue to pop-up, after over 6 weeks in the ground, followed by several inches of snow TWICE; and a hard freeze. I found nearly 25 at last count.

Also, some beets and carrots planted at the same time as the spuds are now sprouting; naturally, I had replanted a bit over a week ago in another area.

Two or three volunteer squash are coming up where 3 varieties of 2 types were planted last year, so no idea whether they’re winter or summer, let alone variety. Probably mongrels of some sort.

Peas have taken advantage of rain and cool temps to take off.
