President Donald Trump announced Friday that former Acting Director of ICE Tom Homan would be the new immigration czar for his administration. Trump broke the news during a morning phone conversation with Fox and Friends.
The president said that Homan would take a border czar position and would report directly to him.Hell be a border czar, hell be very much involved with the border, hell be reporting directly to me, hell be probably be working out of the White House but probably spending a lot of time at the border, Trump said. Hes a good man. Done a good job. Homan served as the acting director of ICE in the Trump administration in 2017 before he joined Fox News Channel as a contributor in August 2018.

More proof of collusion.
Trump is trying to protect the border and stop illegal immigration. He was stopped at every turn. He ran out of options. In the meantime real people still wanted him to do something.
Now he is trying this. I hope it works.
Oh good grief.
Is this your first day in America?
The “federal structure” mainly is a hiding place for LIB losers who have many ways to slow and stop implementation...and can’t be fired. Abolish the “federal structure”. Mainly, it covers for losers.
I like Homan (Kobach wouldv’e been better), but he’s only a figurehead if he has no power.
Build the wall.
Tax all remittances.
I wish Tom Homan well...democrats will fight him every step of the way.
I understand PDJT’s intent, but unless Homan controls Federal departments’ or agencies’ monies and can command their employees, nothing will get done. Better if he puts him in charge of building the separation barrier system (”wall”) and 100% outsource it to We Build The Wall, led be triple amputee veteran Brian Kolfage, and on which board Kris Kobach serves. Screw the incompetent Army Corps of Engineers, who are using inferior materials & methods and won’t put the wall anywhere that has even the slightest slope.
Wrong name. Tsar (Russian for King) is only one at the time. Wrong to use where more are named. Use good American SHERIFF, they can be many and run things right.
EeeeeeeeeeYahoooooooo!!!
Leftist heads spinning off their shoulders!!
Mexican gangsters running for cover!!
The Hammer comes down NOW
Hilarious "phone and a pen" reference!
I agree with you. In the early days of the republic people were concerned about republic form, ie, trappings, titles or actions that seemed too regal. It may seem like not a big deal, but the way we think about how were governed is the foundation for how we ARE governed. The first czar was the Energy Czar in the 70s. By definition the term invokes undemocratic governance, and it should not be used.. And dont even get me started on this Gang of this or that number usage to describe
Small political coalitions. Given how that term came to be, the Gang of Four show prosecution in China, its adoption into our political language is just bizarre
Proving that appearances by rock-solid pro-Trumpers on Fox News opinion programs is the best job interview!
Czars! Has there ever been one worth a damn? Obama had twenty of them and nobody knew who they were or what they did. Even President Reagan had czars for drugs and education and that did not work out as expected. Layering fedaucracy does solve real problems.
Gahhh!!! NO MORE “czar” crap. I was really hoping Trump would never, ever use that damnable Obama-esque totalitarian word.
Yep...you cannot find a single thing that any of Obama’s “czar army” did. They were all just high-paying / do-nothing patronage jobs.
You mean the one that ignores Presidential Orders and Directives, that one?
>
I like that he used the term Czar.
Remember, Obama appointed a whole bunch of Czars.
Today’s bone for the media?

And merely goes to point out the (R)N(C) has their own plantation. Plenty on FR were spitting nails when Zero was appointing these extra-Constitutional positions. Trump does the same, it’s high-5s all around *SMH*
Yet, some wonder why the (R) has a S* brand, followed closely by (C).

Mainly?
