He also directed the Jesus of Nazareth 2 part series in 1977. We watch it almost every year. Many great stars.

He also directed the beautiful mini series "Jesus of Nazareth". I have some issues with it but I think overall it was pretty great. Magnificent even. The casting was terrific...except for Robert Powell as Jesus. He was much too wispy for me.
