Reagans tax cuts doubled revenues to the government, the D’s in the House and Senate TRIPPLED spending so they could ‘PROVE’ that tax cuts increased deficits.

They were then and are now liars.

the idea, I believe, behind a “Laffer curve” is NOT to increase tax revenues to government but to reduce tax revenue which has been shown to restrict government regulation and growth-which returns funds and productivity into the community. The only path to community prosperity

Just can't help remembering my video of John Cocke, who also wrote on napkins, though he went further and carved formulas in bars. John also received the equivalent technology medal from Bush. Always blessed the fact that it wasn't from H's husband and I didn't have to have HIM in my video. While John was ill, the Director of IBM Research took me into John's office, which was filled with unpacked boxes, dirty shirts and cigarette ashes, and I had a video crew shooting into corners and file cabinets and such. That napkin was quite a find after all the wonderful stories I'd heard.

I suspect its easily demonstrable that lower taxes increase revenue, but it’s like diet and exercise. I can always eat more than I can exercise away.
