Florida Man; entertaining even after cremation.
Tomorrow I will have bruises from once again kicking myself due to this article bringing back memories of a chance I had to get the same model Mustang but in much better condition for not much more than scrap value.
Something does not look right.. A “Steve Porter Transport Group” has as its offices Portsmouth... England... also why is the steering wheel on that Steve Porter lorry on the RIGHT...... and the license plate on the car transporter on which this Mustang sits is certainly not from any of the United States.... are we being conned here...? Jus’ askin’, ya know.....
cremains
since I was 18 that has been my fantasy car to own. because I was born in 1966 I want a 66 mustang but I would of settled for 68.
Floriduh is a bad place for cars. Humid and salty. It’s not the rust you see but the rust you don’t see that’s the real problem. Wonder how the frame is?
The cremains don’t bother me, the new buyer’s intent to transfer the VIN’s to a new construction shell and call it a ‘68 S Code GT do.
That car needed work, but I’d rather see a father and son learn bodywork and restoration with it for $2,000, then have someone else create an air car out of it for $27,000.
And yeah, until my recent divorce, I had four Mustangs, including a ‘70 Boss 302, and I’ve been restoring them for almost 40 years.
Not a lot of through-rust. But what’s the mounting for the front subframe look like? If that’s olay, he
can make something of it. But if the mounting point between the unibody and subframe is rotten, good luck.

Mix the ashes with the new paint, the previous owner would like that!
