I do think the NHL needs to figure out how to get the season over with by May 31st. Even fans of hockey start to focus on other things once June rolls around - and the ice will be mushy in most NHL cities come June, so not ideal playing conditions.

Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues on winning their first Cup. At the very least, the Blues should send Sabres GM Jason Botterill a fruit basket for his contribution of O'Reilly for peanuts.
