Dick Tracy... Shanghai Surprise....
I’ll leave it at that...
Threaten to blow up the WH and ticket sales slump.
Indeed, you may see Lady Gaga evolve into something like a more “hip” Celine Dion over the next decade. Gaga is an excellent pianist and has a really good singing voice, too.
Throw her on the pile with Babs and Cher.
She was doing that schtick when W was in office.
I haven’t seen it but I don’t think she was fairly treated as an actress either, likely due to her off screen antics...and she may have signed on to do bad movies.
Was League of their Own that bad though? Again, I quite liked her in “Evita.”
Yeah well that’s what happens when every single song is about how much she hates Trump and how she wants to blow up the White House..f’n loser
Evita was ok, but that was more due to Antonio Banderas.
who wants to see her....she was a pig 35 years ago...Time has not been kind to her.
I just looked on Ticketmaster, and
1) She may be playing small venues, but she's playing them multiple times. Her first stop is the Howard Gilman Opera House, where she has 17 successive engagements.
2) At the Howard Gilman Opera House, the cheapest tickets are $359 each. Orchestra seats are $1,650 each.
3) If you think "yeah, but that's New York where things are always pricey," her next stop is 6 nights at the Chicago Theater, where seats range from $300 in the cheap seats to $2,000 up front.
No wonder sales are slow.
She’ll be doing a residency in Vegas, eventually.
You mean alone or at a concert?
And is she in any kind of shape at all?
:)

Or rant about her tiresome political views.
GaGa experienced a resurgence of popularity after she changed her approach. She went from mostly Glam-Campy Rock to Adele-like adult contemporary, teaming up with people like Tony Bennet.
But Madonna could not do that in the same way, because she doesn’t have the natural voice for those songs.
Every dog has his day. Then it changes, usually for good.
Today’s millenials want their own Icons, not from their Moms or Dads youth. Such Icons are young with them now, and will get older with them later.
The clear-eyed and brutal honesty of this thread is refreshing...and hilarious.
Get Bill and Hill to open for her, that would pack the place to the 4th row.
Generation X? She was born in 1959. Shes a baby boomer. We Gen Xers have enough trash of our own thanks. :^)
Her recent video single was difficult to watch. It was like watching someone’s grand mother bump uglies with a mexican at a wedding.
Or, in other words, it was a visual train wreck. Her focus on Latin American themed music is kind of a turn off for old white guys like me. You know...the people who paid her way when she was 25; and who can afford to go see her now.
Self adhering postage stamps purportedly derailed a Postal Service plan to issue a Madonna postage stamp. Seems the Madonna stamp would lick itself.
