Marvel is owned by Disney.

The X-Men, and mutants in general, are owned by Sony (I believe — different company, anyway).

Well, Hugh Jackman is 50 years old, he requested for them to kill him off because I don’t think he wants to be stuck as Wolverine when he’s 60.
