Yeah, well, with 365 days a year of nearly PERFECT growing season, you should! :)

I lived in Imperial Beach from 1980-’82. I couldn’t believe that people needed coats, hats and gloves when it went down to 50 degrees, LOL!

That’s, ‘Shorts & Flip-Flops Weather’ in Wisconsin!

I LOVE having Four Seasons, though. I NEED time to regroup in the Winter months after running myself ragged Spring through Fall. ;)

You know how squash sometimes wilts in hot weather and springs back later?

It was triple digits today and not one of them wilted!

I sure am glad to have those soaker hoses.

So far they seem to be working pretty well.

I still have to water a few things by hand but it’s been nice to let it drip while I go get other things done.

If we owned our home I would install a sprinkler system out front. Most of the time we are under drought conditions so I quit trying to have a lawn out front. Also, crime is rising in our neighborhood so I don’t like to be outside in the front yard. I’d rather save the water to grow a few veggies instead.

A house on a few acres with solar, a well, septic and gray water irrigation would be nice.
