I've seen reports that the pilot died, and also that there weren't any other passengers aboard.

Here's a tweet with video that says it's the helicopter flying erratically before it crashes (but doesn't show the crash):

Actually I’ve seen a lot of odd transport related stuff the last few days on my travel advisory alerts for work:

6/10 - ground stop at Dallas/Fort Worth Love Field Airport

Train derailment in Boston, Another one in Chicago. I didn’t catch the dates on those but they were within the last week.
