She will remain in her prime ministerial post only until a replacement is elected...and regardless of who becomes the next U.K. leader, it seems pretty certain they’ll be tackling the withdrawal agreement already drawn up under May. So the first issue a new prime minister has to make clear is what are they going to do with the withdrawal agreement that is there.

The Tory election process will take 2 to 4 weeks. May will be acting PM until probably the 1st of August.

This will give the new Tory leader just 3 months to do something
