A Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday shows President Trump facing tight matchups in Texas with potential Democrat challengers. According to the poll, former Vice President Joe Biden leads Trump in the Lone Star State, 4844 percent. The numbers are good for Vice President Joseph Biden who dominates the field in a Democratic primary and has the best showing in a head-to-head match-up against President Donald Trump, Quinnipiacs assistant director, Peter A. Brown, said. Brown also said this could spell trouble for Trump.
In historically red-leaning Texas, the report for the rest of the Democratic field is not so bad either, which could spell trouble for President Trump, he stated. It is the largest state in the country with a Republican edge.
In six other potential races, Trump barely edges out his competitors, leading Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) by one point, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) by three points, and former U.S. Rep. Beto ORourke (D) by three points.
The results are as follows:

Hispanic/Latino is a useless category anyway. I’ve known plenty of Cubanos, and if all “Latinos” were like them they we wouldn’t be having this crisis. They hate the border crisis too. They have nothing in common with Afro-Caribbeans, or the Indios from Guatemala and Honduras. It’s as stupid as trying to classify Nigerians, Indians, and Australians as “Anglos” because of the language they share, yet the media still persists.

Texas has been worrying me for a while - if the Lone Star State falls, we’re in for a bleak future...that said, I can’t imagine Crazy Joe beating President Trump in Texas....polls don’t become relevant until 8-10 weeks from the election....

There is no if. It will. Remember how close Beto came. All major cities are solid Blue, and Ft. Worth was Purple in the mid-terms.
With El Paso, Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and the entire set of border counties with Mexico already completely blue (and for decades in some cases), with Ft. Worth shifting, it's only a matter of time.

The poll is crap. Propaganda work by a liberal university famous for such.
HOWEVER....
At the rate with which Texas is turning blue alarm bells should be ringing.

Total BS. Laughable.
Remember that Trump was going to lose SC? And morons like Maddow were actually believing their own BS?

This is a 100% FAKEPOLL! When they came up with their sample, they found a way to include all of the far left as Independents rather than Democrats. They did this by allowing them to identify as "Other".
To get an accurate sample polls ask a party identification question, and then match that to exit polls. This poll instead of simple asking if someone identifies most closely as R, D, or I, they also asked them "or what?". They then included anyone who answered something other than R, D or I into the I bucket. This means that anyone who answered "socialist" or "progressive" was included in the poll as an Independent.
This is the question for "party id" which is used to determine the sample -
"PARTY IDENTIFICATION QUESTION WORDING - Generally speaking, do you consider yourself a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, or what?"
So, if someone said "socialist" or "progressive" they went into a category called "Other". There is no "Other" in exit data they attributed this to "Independants". The problem is that Independants in Texas vote heavily R, but this poll intentionally splits out far left individuals and counts them as independants!
PARTY IDENTIFICATION
Republican 34%
Democrat 30
Independent 25
Other/DK/NA 10
For example in 2016 Trump won Independants by 14%, but in this poll Biden is winning Independants by get this - 22%!!
From the poll -
"Republicans back Trump 90 - 8 percent. Biden leads 94 - 4 percent among Democrats and 55 - 33 percent among independent voters. "

If Trump's polling numbers were good, would the MSM even tell you? That's all you need to hear right there.
