A Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday shows President Trump facing tight matchups in Texas with potential Democrat challengers. According to the poll, former Vice President Joe Biden leads Trump in the Lone Star State, 4844 percent. The numbers are good for Vice President Joseph Biden who dominates the field in a Democratic primary and has the best showing in a head-to-head match-up against President Donald Trump, Quinnipiacs assistant director, Peter A. Brown, said. Brown also said this could spell trouble for Trump.
In historically red-leaning Texas, the report for the rest of the Democratic field is not so bad either, which could spell trouble for President Trump, he stated. It is the largest state in the country with a Republican edge.
In six other potential races, Trump barely edges out his competitors, leading Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) by one point, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) by three points, and former U.S. Rep. Beto ORourke (D) by three points.
The results are as follows:

I agree.
Not likely voters.
It’s a registered voters poll, and it’s from Quinnipiac. Enough said. It’s laughable on it’s face.
Quinnipiac has been a consistent outlier in its polls against Trump, and they were absolutely horrid in the 2018 election. (They are as bad as PPP is now.)
Their final Florida poll had Nelson and Gillum both winning by SEVEN. (They both lost). They were by far the most far-left pollster in 2018. They got crushed with the actual results.
If you believe this poll you believe Elizabeth Warren ties Trump in Texas.
LOL
I agree, the flipping of Texas is an inevitability, the only question as to when. My guess is 2028.
BULLSH*T !
Poll breakdown
34% Republican/ 30% Democrat/ 25% independent/ 12% other
Dual frame landline and cell phone samples are generated using Random Digit Dialing procedures by Survey Sampling International (SSI). Both the landline and cellular phone samples are stratified by Census division according to area code.Landline numbers and cell phone numbers are scheduled for 4+ call attempts.
When calling landlines interviewers ask to speak with the adult member of the household having the next birthday. Interviews are conducted on cell phones with both cell only and dual owner respondents. The complete land and cell sample is weighted to National Health Interview Survey estimates for [land only/cell only/dual owner] households.
All university students in Houston, no doubt.
I remember reading in 2016 that Hillary Clinton was going to win Texas and Georgia easily LOL LOL they cant peddle this garbage fast enough
I’m in mostly Dem San Antonio, and I can tell all of you that this is utter BS. Not one single person who voted for Trump that I know is changing their mind (in fact, they are more determined than ever to make sure that he has the chance to finish his job). But there are also many I know who didn’t vote for him that will either pull that lever, or stay home if they really can’t stand him.
Texas will be solid Trump, count on it.
And polls also say that Hillary is a sure bet to win the presidency!
Just another puff poll where enough random calls were made to achieve the desuired outcome and where secondarily Biden would be seen as more electable than other Dems in Texas.
Abbott and crew have been inviting people from other states to move here for years. It’s only a matter of time for other state refugees to take over Texas. Just like the rest of the south will fall in time from other state refugees.
Is this the same type of poll that said Beto would beat Ted Cruz?
And we all know the polls said Hillary was going to be president.
I mean, look at Quinnipiac’s numbers for her!
Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,159 using random digit dialing with live interviewers calling landlines and cell phones.
I ignore these calls...
Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!
Hahahaha hahahaha hahahah!!!!!!
Gasp for breath...
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
They had Beto beating Cruz as well.
Wishful thinking, actually, as are all polls especially those issued 1.5 years prior to the vote.
