They were making muse right here. Before 1980 almost everything was made in the USA.

Unions

Unions are dead. Less than 7% of the private sector workforce is in a union. Yesterday's boogey man

Government taxes/regulations

Taxes and regulations have been significantly lowered.

Energy is now almost dirt cheap in the USA.

I don't know who I hate worse the Free Traitors™ that created the problem or the socialists that capitalized on it. Hard choice.
