The Dutch settled down to five years of Nazi occupation and gave the Germans very little trouble. They seemed to have learned a lot from the Nazis. Their “underground” did not care enough to rise up and thus they were not free from the Germans until over a week after Hitler killed himself.
Depression is a treatable illness. The “doctor” who carried out her “treatment” should be treated to the same “cure”.
This is murder in the first degree, nothing less.

It’s just so appalling. Will neglected teens look forward to visits from MP’s praising them for their strength if they can just make themselves commit to euthenisia? What does it say to those struggling to grapple with the aftermath of what may well be “immigrant” rape? Kill yourself and impress the MP? The MP “knows” it’s the best course of action for you? Did no one in the Netherlands love this kid?

Very possibly but hard to say. The Netherlands is a country that has absolutely gone to h*ll since about 1970. It used to be said it was a socially conservative society with a politically liberal government. Now thanks to ‘enlightened public opinion’ the country is well on the way to a third world society and a first world economy. The Dutch have engaged in a wide variety of dubious state activities to try and raise money to support the all encompassing welfare state. A perfect example is that the state can now operate casino gambling establishments but not private operators. So the state has erected a dozen or so massive gaming venues to get the suckers dough. Unfortunately the gambling income never seems to be enough to make even a modest dent in the financial demands of the social services. One of the larger of these venues is in Arnhem. It is fascinating to watch the grubby looking throngs of Europeans, muzzards, Africans and other Asians milling about trying to lose money.
