I saw a documentary on Bugatti. The leather used for the interior trim is all harvested from a herd of cattle that are maintained in an alpine pasture at an altitude where mosquitoes aren't found to minimize any scarring or blemishes to the leather. No barbed wire used for their enclosures either.
