A fierce debate over socialism has erupted among Democrats, with several centrist presidential candidates warning that progressive proposals on health care and the environment that have dominated the primary are a surefire way to get President Trump reelected.
Three low-polling contenders — former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Sen. Michael Bennet (Colo.) and former Rep. John Delaney (Md.) — are unloading on socialism or taking shots at “Medicare for All” and the Green New Deal, which have gone mainstream in the Democratic Party since being embraced by Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), as well as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.).
Hickenlooper and Delaney made waves with their warnings about socialism and Medicare for All at the California Democratic Party convention over the weekend in San Francisco, where they were booed mercilessly by the liberal crowd.
Now they’ve become targets for the party’s energized left wing, including Ocasio-Cortez, who encouraged Delaney to “sashay away” from the race after he said that Medicare for All would result in hospital bankruptcies and cost 150 million Americans access to health insurance.
But the centrists are doubling down and warning that a leftward lurch toward socialism could cost Democrats the White House in 2020.

I heard excerpts/quotes from it on Tucker Carlson. I kid you not, these people are total wack jobs not fit to run for Student Council. I actually could not believe what I was hearing.
I should add, that I heard excerpt from CNN’s round table. Mind-boggling. The Dems mentioned in this thread are actually credible, albeit mostly wrong.

I do not plan to be on the side that gets shot. I have learned from history and the next time the bad guys get shot.
I mainly meant that the Far Left Democrats are going to “liquidate” the Less Far Left Democrats.
I think the far left democRATs will try to liquidate all to the right of them. That has been the way that communist governments have killed 150 million of their own citizens in he last 100 years.
I was not disagreeing with you. It is like the Islamist groups, like sunni and shiite disagreeing and killing each other. Christians outside thinking this is crazy.
Let us not forget that totalitarian governments have tended to side with the totalitarianism of islam. Hitler is a great example.

The mainstream Democrats these days tell it like it is: “We are going to steal all your stuff, whitey!”
The Democrats better order more 2020 magic wands.
What they really mean is don’t campaign on the Socialist policies no one wants,lie to the electorate,get elected then implement the policies and say that’s what Americans want
