Two fishermen who filmed themselves laughing as they cut off an endangered shark's tail have received a huge backlash.
Horrific footage taken by the men on board their boat shows them throwing the shark back into the sea.
The shark is shown struggling to swim away as it leaves a stream of blood from its painful.

Japanese fishermen cut the shark’s fins and dumped the creature back in the ocean for decades.
This was the basis for crunchy “Sharks fin soup.”
Yes. Coleridge for his “Rime” and an iron maiden for these despicable “mariners”
I saw that as “Jets,” at first. Kinda funny in a “West Side Story” way.
I was not aware of that. Is that the editorial stance they take?
I think Rush already has you covered on that one.
Never heard the Iron Maiden opus, but Samuel Coleridge's Ancient Mariner brought bad mojo on himself and his shipmates with an act of animal cruelty when he killed the gooney bird.
And, speaking for yourself, too?
Bingo...
Speaking about all humans, so yes that includes me.
What senseless cruelty! I hope these two idiots end up in jail!
I remember years ago road rage incident on a California freeway where some guy got out of his car, grabbed a woman driver’s small dog from her open window, and threw it into oncoming traffic. Around the same time a young girl was kidnapped, raped, and murdered in California. Guess which one got the most publicity? Guess which one garnered the most donations when charity funds were set up for the owner of the dog and mother of the child?
Yea, these guys are jackasses but there are things a whole lot more evil going on all around us on a daily basis and they don’t get 1/100th the attention by the media or authorities. Fish get their tails bitten off by bigger fish all day every day, they’re part of the food chain. Save the outrage for things that matter.
Keelhaul the lot of them.
The song is based on that exact story
Without God.
Are you married? Kids?
Human life can be awful, I admit. But it’s still based on individuals.
I know it wouldn’t matter, though I’m sorry for you.
