Obama officials are already turning on each other as they anticipate disclosures implicating them in potential criminality.
Former President Barack Hussein Obama’s illegal surveillance scandal of President Donald Trump is set to put Watergate to shame, as Obama allegedly used spying powers that put Nixon’s Watergate fiasco to shame.
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017
After Trump made that tweet shortly after becoming President, he was lambasted by the fake news and liberal establishment. Time has proven him correct, however, as commentator Michael Barone notes in the New York Post.
Barone explains that the likely motive behind the spying operations of Nixon and Obama, and shows why Obama’s actions were far more scandalous:
Both the Watergate wiretap and the Obama appointees’ investigator/spy infiltration were initially inspired amid fears that the upstart opposition might win. The Watergate burglary was planned when Nixon’s re-election was far from assured. A May 1972 Harris Poll showed him with only 48 percent against McGovern. It was only after the Haiphong harbor bombing and Moscow summit in early June made clear that US involvement in Vietnam was ending that Nixon’s numbers surged — just before the June 17 burglary.
In March 2016, it was conventional wisdom that Trump couldn’t be elected president. But his surprising and persistent strength in the Republican primaries left some doubtful, including the FBI lovebirds who instant messaged their desire for an “insurance policy” against that dreaded eventuality.
Their unease may have owed something to their knowledge of how the Obama Justice Department and FBI had fixed the Hillary Clinton emails case. Clinton wasn’t indicted but was left with a disastrously low 32 percent of voters confident of her honesty and trustworthiness.
There are two obvious differences between Watergate and the Obama administration’s infiltration. The Watergate burglars were arrested in flagrante delicto, and their wiretaps never functioned. And neither the FBI nor the CIA fully cooperated with the post-election cover-up.
That’s quite a contrast with the Obama law enforcement and intelligence appointees’ promotion of Christopher Steele’s Clinton campaign-financed dodgy dossier and feeding the mainstream media’s insatiable hunger for Russia collusion stories.
Obama officials are already turning on each other as they anticipate disclosures implicating them in potential criminality.
Going to look like the ww2 war crimes trials all over.
The link only further misleads the public. By calling it Nixon’s Watergate, they are not telling the story as it is. Nixon has not been accused of planning, or even knowing about the Watergate break in, until after it had happened. His action that got him into trouble was trying to cover for people within in administration that went on their own to do the act. Nixon was wrong, but it isn’t his Watergate anymore than it was Reagan’s contras. (And I can tell you a lot about that one, too)
Obama is under investigation like everyone else within the problem. If he did it, he should be toast. If he found out about it after the fact, he should be downcast. If he knew nothing about it at all, which is really tough right now, he’s innocent and should be treated that way. But that’s the huge difference between a conservative and a liberal democratic. I believe in innocent until proven guilty and I don’t try to change history after the person is dead. And I expect the guilty parties to be punished for their pre-planned actions.....on both sides.

Please don’t insult Nixon by putting his name with obomas,
Nixon broke the law but was man enough to pay the penalty. the
That is true, nixican was only looking out for those he thought
was looking out for america.
Did you mean he should be “downcast” or cast down ?
The Watergate break-in was done to set up a new wire-tap after the original one failed. Ironic it was about surveillance/spying.
Cast down from what? He is a perfect example of being a nobody again and not in a position that can be removed. If he is guilty of illegal wiretapping or other spying related crimes, he should go to jail. But you saw what that got Hilary when she was caught dead allowing top secret information to be sucked out of her private (impossible) server. The only real difference with her and Obama is that she was allowed the opportunity to be stupid as she “didn’t do it on purpose.” Obama, if he is involved, did.

Me too! I’m sure the MSM will put their best investigative journalists on it ASAP.
I meant ‘cast down’ as in Satan being cast down.
Which is a very more important distinction than just downcast.
They would have to hire some investigative journalists first because the batch of journalists they have now can barely find their own...well, you know the rest.
A certain body part...two hands.
He probably should be cast down. But as a private citizen, as long as he doesn’t violate laws, he can say and do anything he likes. That’s why I hope they tie him into wire tapping which garnishes criminal punishments of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each violation. But someone will fall on their sword as usual for this crooked moron. The libs never seem to run out of patsies.

That’s right. Lol
