I think people hate him because there is a resentment against his success and he is always in a business suit and says “You’re fired.” People don’t like that because many think they have undeservedly been fired, and who the hell does he think he is. Now he is give everybody in America a job but there is still that 70’s attitude of F’You. Now this is mainly just about people who FEEL and don’t really think. It’s about people who feel they haven’t measured up in their life so screw him.

As I think of one person in my larger family's reason for despising Trump, I think you nailed it:

And implicit in what you say is that "I'm a victim" attitude that the Left is constantly pushing. "I deserve everlasting access to milk from the government's teet. I was screwed over in life (by somebody, the fat cats, or the 'system'). But I paid my dues."
