That’s why I cut them in half lengthwise. Sorry if my “recipe” was not more clear. So they look like little boats, easy to fill and then wrap the bacon around. When I use my own grown ones, the sizes vary but they all taste the same.

I guess that's a benefit of growing them. I've been surprised at the different levels of heat in bunches I've bought in the supermarket. You really have to taste them all a little, to know if you may have a few intensely hot - or conversely, very mild - ones
