In a Sao Paolo, Brazil speech at the VTEX Digital Convention, Obama tells audience:
"Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense.
Anybody can buy any weapon any time -- without much if any regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine guns."
The former president, 57, said the most difficult day of his eight years in the White House was after the 2012 school shooting in Newtown, Conn., when 20 elementary students and six staff were shot dead.

Were is media fact checking when you need it. You cannot buy machine guns over the Internet. You can semi-automatic weapons over the Internet if delivered to a Federal Firearms Dealer who will then do an FBI instant background check prior to your walking out with the firearm. Also in some states like Washington, you can't even own a part that could be used in the conversion of a semi-automatic firearm into a fully automatic firearm, nor (unless police or military) possess a fully automatic firearm even if you have the necessary federal tax stamp.
Where are the people who should be saying that Obama is a liar? Oh that's right they are too busy focusing on calling Trump a liar.

And the machine gun HAS to have been registered with NFA PRIOR to Oct 1986 to be transferable ...
