Former Fox News Host Bill O'Reilly said President Trump called him Wednesday night to allege special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was a "personal thing."
In a Thursday morning radio appearance on the show "Bernie and Sid in the Morning", O'Reilly said Trump called him at 11 p.m. the night before to discuss Mueller's findings, alleging that Mueller had to "signal to the swamp" that he "still believes that Donald Trump did something illegal."
"Trump says Mueller doesn't like him because he turned him down to be the head of the FBI after he fired (James) Comey," O'Reilly said. "The president says that Mueller lobbied for the job and Trump turned him down."
On Wednesday, Mueller made a dramatic appearance at the Justice Department to discuss his investigation. Mueller announced he was closing his office, and that his team could not have brought charges against Trump given Justice guidance prohibiting charges from being brought against a sitting president.

Glad this old loudmouth was FIRED!
If there's a person issue between them involving $15,000,as has been suggested, then it *absolutely* could be both political *and* personal.
As we've seen so many times...BillyBob deducting used underwear on his taxes, the Senior Senator from Chappaquiddick filing his mother's estate in a low tax state in which she's never lived...when it comes to their *own* money,"progressives" are tighter than...well,you finish the sentence.
And as for O'Reilly never hearing from DJT again...how do you know that the President doesn't *want* that made public?
Wonderful waiting for Nadler Shifty to request O’Reilly come to congress to discuss the phone call.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Except....Trump may have given him permission. If he didn’t, I bet we’ll hear about it!
Unless Trump is using Bill as another conduit to get a different set of info out ...
BOR and Trump have known each other for years. Other than the women stuff BOR is very intelligent.
