This seems contradictory. Natural gas production in the United States has reached record highs.

Since 2014 Cuomo has banned hydraulic fracking in the state, parroting environmental activist talking points that it would cause “adverse health outcomes.” ...”

In January he announced New York’s very own “Green New Deal,” with the goal of eliminating the state’s carbon footprint.

Under Cuomo, New York has unilaterally halted interstate pipeline construction, undermining the ability of other states in the region from accessing natural gas.

The result of these eco-policies has predictably been unnecessary shortages. Now, some customers in the state are facing moratoriums on natural gas hookups.

With local natural gas production restricted by his nonsensical fracking ban, and pipeline bans preventing natural gas from being brought into the state, liberal New York has turned to Russia.

“We should be producing energy at home, not enriching foreign adversaries abroad,” Trump said at the LNG facility in Louisiana. Cuomo either hasn’t heard or doesn’t believe, that message. And that is dangerous and wrong.

The foreign policy left should be outraged that American taxpayers are enriching our adversary by purchasing Russian LNG.

On December 11, Dr. Michael Zimpfer of the Rudolfinerhaus clinic declared that Yushchenko had ingested TCDD dioxin and had 1,000 times the usual concentration in his body.[19]

Andrew Weissmann

Andrew Weissmann headed the Obama administration’s Department of Justice Criminal Fraud Section. Weissman was knowledgeable of Deputy Assistant Attorney General Bruce Ohr’s collusion with Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson and did not report the illegal activity to his superiors as departmental regulations require.[1] Weissman is now lead prosecutor in the Mueller investigation.[2] Weissmann is suspected in illegal leaks from the Mueller probe.[3]

Weissmann donated $2,300 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2008, $2,000 to the DNC in 2006 and at least $2,300 to the Clinton campaign in 2007. He was at Hillary Clinton headquarters on election night and is part of the anti-Trump Resistance.

Section 371 is for less serious conspiracy cases. Using it for money laundering — which caps the sentence below Congress’s intent for that behavior — subverts federal law and signals to the court that the prosecutor does not regard the offense as major.

Yet, that is exactly what Rod Rosenstein’s office did, in a plea agreement his prosecutors co-signed with attorneys from the Justice Department’s Fraud Section. (See in The Hill’s report, the third document embedded at the bottom, titled “Mikerin Plea Deal.”) No RICO, no extortion, no fraud — and the plea agreement does not mention any of the extortions in 2009 and 2010, before Committee on Foreign Investment in the US approved Rosatom’s acquisition of Uranium One. Mikerin just plead guilty to a nominal “money laundering” conspiracy charge, insulating him from a longer sentence. Thus, he got a term of only four years’ for a major national security crime.

Former Senator Al D’Amato (R-NY) dropped a bomb on Sunday Morning Futures this AM. D’Amato told Maria Bartiromo that Hillary allowed Russia to take ownership of US uranium so they could sell it to Iran.

Hillary made it possible for the Russians to take control of one of our huge uranium producers and allow them to own the company, export the uranium and who do they sell the uranium to? Iran!

Now if people knew that and that the foundation as a result of that got $135 million. I think people would start saying, “What?”

It’s true.
In January 2013, Pravda celebrated the Russian atomic energy agency’s purchase of the company “Uranium One” in Canada.

That same company, Uranium One, owned uranium concessions in the United States. Because uranium is a strategically important commodity, the Russians would need approval from the Obama administration, including Hillary’s State Department, before the purchase took place.

Nine shareholders in Uranium One just happened to provide more than $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation in the run-up to State Department approval.

The Clintons took the cash from Uranium One officials before the deal was approved by Hillary Clinton’s State Department. The Clintons hid the donations which is a clear violation of the Memorandum of Understanding Hillary Clinton signed with the Obama administration wherein she promised and agreed to publicly disclose all donations during her tenure as Secreatary of State. As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

Obama allowing Iran to purchase uranium from Russia

Remember those side deals Obama forged with Iran that were not part of the text of the official treaty? Now we are finding out some of the details.

Yesterday, the Washington Free Beacon reported that Iranian officials confirmed they have received at least $10 billion in cash, commodities, and assets from Washington since 2013. And that is likely a conservative estimate.

But cash is not the only thing the Islamic Republic of Iran is receiving for gracing us with their willingness to sign onto our own capitulation.

The AP is reporting that Russia, with the support of President Obama, is shipping Iran 116 metric tons of natural uranium.

While Iranian officials have obviously declined to disclose the use of such uranium, AP notes that this is enough to enrich weapons-grade uranium for nuclear bombs:

“Despite present restrictions on its enrichment program, however, the amount of natural uranium is significant should Iran decide to keep it in storage, considering its potential uses once some limits on Tehran’s nuclear activities start to expire in less than a decade.

David Albright, whose Institute of Science and International Security often briefs U.S. lawmakers on Iran’s nuclear program, says the shipment could be enriched to enough weapons-grade uranium for more than 10 simple nuclear bombs, “depending on the efficiency of the enrichment process and the design of the nuclear weapon.” ...”

One, the Washington swamp of fixers such as Paul Manafort and John and Tony Podesta was mostly bipartisan and predated Trump.

Two, the Trump administration’s Russia policies were far tougher on Vladimir Putin than were those of Barack Obama. Trump confronted Russia in Syria, upped defense spending, increased sanctions, and kept the price of oil down through massive new U.S. energy production. Three, Russia has a long history of trying to warp U.S. elections that predated Trump and that had earned only lukewarm pushback from the Obama administration.

The Politico article was excellent, and I will use parts of it in the future. Thanks for linking to it. However, the 2nd one (”Democrats Reverse Long Love Affair with Russia —
Liberals’ newfound fear of the Kremlin at odds with their apologist past”) merely advances the BS that today’s Democrats (seriously) view Russia as an enemy and threat.

The Politico piece is 100% correct on the Obama-Biden-Hillary admin’s record on dealing with Russia, going into the many things that they did to help strengthen Putin’s position. However, I don’t know if it goes into the fact that they, the Obama-Biden-Hillary admin, at the same time, had sustainably and purposely weakened OUR OWN military position. Haven’t read the entire piece yet.

Here’s an excerpt from the Politico article...

Notwithstanding the merits of that argument, perception matters in foreign policy, and the perception in Central and Eastern Europe was that America was abandoning its friends in order to satiate an adversary.

That characterizes the feelings of many American allies during the Obama years, whether Israelis and Sunni Arabs upset about a perceived tilt to Iran, or Japanese concerned about unwillingness to confront a revisionist China.

Liberals are absolutely right to criticize the Trump administration for its alienation of allies.

But they seem to have forgotten the record of the man who served as president for the eight years prior.”

I admit I really did not go thru the 2nd article. And they opposed Reagan who understood the Soviet danger, and Putin longs for a return to its power.

Absolutely true that the commie Dems embraced Russia during the Soviet Union era. My point is that, despite their smoke & mirrors tough talk on Russia today, they STILL are working with Russia to help them in their mission to basically restore that evil empire. Don't pay attention to their words, but rather to their *actions* during the Obama-Biden-Hillary years. As the old saying goes, "Action speaks louder than words". And in this case, MUCH louder. This was nothing more than an elaborate, highly sophisticated hoax, almost certainly concocted by the KGB/FSB Putin admin. His regime is loaded with former KGB and FSB people. They were/are masters of deception and disinformation.
